Chiang Mai Franchise Cafes Tier List
In Chiang Mai alone there are over 541 cafes! With a majority of them being unique, independent stores on their own. But sometimes, you just want go to someplace comfortable and familiar. Here is the list of the most common franchises (worldwide one’s included) made into a tier list. As you can see, the Thai brands rank MUCH higher on average than the world brands. Why? Price of course. Why pay 2 to 3 times the price for the same cup of coffee?
I take into account Price, Taste, and Location among other things for my coffee tier list ranking. Read below for my individual explanations and rankings of my cafe tier list.
S Tier Cafes
1. Doi Chaang
One thing I really like about this franchise is that it has an authentic traditional thai feel in all the franchises and depending on the locations. On top of that, a reasonable price and delicious coffee really adds to that authentic Thai feel of getting great coffee for a great price. Locally grown beans at local prices with a local feel is what I think most of the people come to Thailand for!
